I make the ultimate potatoes in my air fryer

A FOOD fan has shared her tips on how to make the ultimate potatoes - and you won't need to use your oven.

Food whizz Verna explained that thanks to her quick and easy recipe, she makes delicious potatoes in her air fryer.

So if you’ve joined the air fryer gang and are a fan of potatoes, you’ll want to listen up.

Posting on TikTok under the username @vernahungrybanana, the foodie, who is from London, shared how to get the tastiest potatoes, without too much faff.

Verna said: "You need these air fryer potatoes in your life."

In the video, we first saw the food whizz cut her potatoes into small chunks.

She then revealed the important step that people always forget - as she put her potato chunks into a bowl of water and gave them a soak and then a mix, to remove the excess starch.

Once drained, she covered the potatoes with three to four tablespoons of olive oil, half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, half a teaspoon of paprika and some rosemary.

After seasoning, she put the potatoes into her air fryer, which she had layered with a piece of tin foil.

Verna explained that she put her potatoes in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 205 degrees celsius.

At the end of the clip, Verna removed the potatoes from the air fryer and served them with parsley, mayonnaise and another sprinkling of paprika.

The potatoes looked delicious, so it's no surprise that Verna's clip has clearly left many impressed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 872,900 views.

It has 22,600 likes, 87 comments, 13,500 saves and 1,615 shares.

Social media users were grateful for the recipe and were eager to express this in the comments.
